BATTLE LOS ANGELES

High body counts, tanks , helis guns of all sorts really nice movie there could be no more chaos in the world than this,

It's up to a Marine staff sergeant (Aaron Eckhart) and his new platoon to draw a line in the sand as they take on an enemy

For years, there have been documented cases of UFO sightings around the world - Buenos Aires, Seoul, France, Germany, China. But in 2011, what were once just sightings will become a terrifying reality when Earth is attacked by unknown forces. As people everywhere watch the world's great cities fall, Los Angeles becomes the last stand for mankind in a battle no one expected. It's up to a Marine staff sergeant (Aaron Eckhart) and his new platoon to draw a line in the sand as they take on an enemy

It seems weird to be using the word "realistic" to describe a film about an alien invasion, yet that is the word that best sums up Battle: Los Angeles. See, this isn’t another trumped version of Independence Day; no, this is an alien invasion filmed in the style of a war film… if you think of Black Hawk Day or The Hurt Locker, then you are in the right ballpark

                genre action, horror

                length 2hrs

                director jonathan liebesman

It’s not the best of it’s genre, but it’s got some solid actions scenes and would go nicely with a drink and popcorn
